Sustainability and energy researchers, WVU community invited to holiday open house on Dec. 7

It's the holidays and we're celebrating energy research!  The WVU community and colleagues throughout the greater Morgantown area are invited to join energy researchers from across campus for our holiday open house.   

This Research Office event will be held on Wed., Dec. 7, from 4-6 p.m., in Salon A of the Erickson Alumni Center and offers networking and poster opportunities promoting WVU’s energy and sustainability research efforts. 

The event is being co-sponsored by the WVU Research Office, the Energy Institute, and the WVU Bridge Initiative for Science and Technology Policy Leadership and Communications.

EVENT DETAILS

RSVP BY DEC 1 :  Attendees are strongly encouraged to RSVP by Dec. 1  to register their posters and boost networking participation.  

WVU GRAD STUDENTS:  Grad students who are currently working on energy research with WVU faculty are invited to attend and bring a poster.  RSVP by Dec. 1.

WVU FACULTY & GRAD POSTERS:  Easels will be provided to all attendees who register a poster.  Poster boards (40" x 30") will be provided to those who request one when registering and will be available 30-minutes before the start of the open house in Salon A, along with tape, pins, etc.

NAMETAGS:  Preprinted nametags will be available for those who preregister by Dec. 1 and will include your research keywords (provided when you register) to encourage networking.

POSTER LIST AND CONTACT INFORMATION: A list of all posters and researcher contact information will be available at the reception desk as a takeaway reference.
