Cristina Dumitrescu is a program coordinator at the WVU Institute for Sustainability and Energy Research. She provides project management and budgetary support to externally funded projects, administers subawards and service agreements, prepares financial reports, develops budgets and energy research proposals and programs.
An experienced engineer project manger, Dumitrescu has spent more than 10 years managing research and development projects in the private energy sector. She came to WVU in 2015 and has worked in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department as a scientist engineer, and at the National Research Center for Coal and Energy as faculty equivalent and academic professional (FEAP).
Education
Dumitrescu received a master in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama and an MBA in management and finance from Syracuse University.
