    This program is a completely free, confidential and HIPAA-compliant safe space for employees and their dependents.
  • Another WVU resource is mentalhealth.wvu.edu
  • Also, WVU students, faculty and staff have free access to Kognito, an online training program that teaches skills for communicating with others about mental health concerns and motivating them to seek help when needed.

The ITS Service Desk hours are 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon-8 p.m. on weekends. The Service Desk is closed on most University holidays.   Tickets and emails submitted during off-hours will be addressed in the order received on the next business day.

  • Position Creation:  When initially creating a position, please contact your HR Partner if you have any questions about the process.  To preview the questions on the Position Creation Form prior to starting the form, please contact WVU Talent and Culture.   Position Creation Form

  • Questions about Posted Position:  Questions regarding candidates and the posting should be directed to your Recruitment Process Specialist.  I f your position is being sourced by Talent Strategy, you should direct your questions to your Talent Strategy Recruiter.

    WVUHire is found on the  WVUPortal  site. You will need your username and password to log-in.

    If you would like to access helpful recruitment resources such as hiring guides, search guidelines, interviewing resources, supervisor welcome guides, and other helpful items, please check out our  Hiring Resources  site.

  • Job/Position Reviews:  Job/Position Reviews can be submitted for position/compensation updates and/or changes. Reasons for review submissions m ay include a substantial change in duties/responsibility, market adjustment, or critical retention. Questions regarding reviews can be directed to your HR Partner.

    If the review is a market adjustment (salary only) the first and fourth pages of the review form are the only ones that need to be completed. All reviews need to be submitted with the employee’s upda ted resume.

  • Questions about Employee Relations:  When/if situations arise that may require consultation regarding an employee relations issue in the workplace (performance, conduct, behavior, etc.) please contact your HR Partner or Executive HR Partner.  If you cannot reach either of the above, you can reach out directly to your Employee Relations representative (Ali Daniels).
