Industry Partners

Industry may work with the Energy Institute through collaborations on a variety of research and education programs. Examples include the  West Virginia Water Research InstituteU.S.- China Energy CenterAppalachian Oil and Natural Gas Research Consortium and the  National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium. Go to our  Programs page for a full list.

Typically participation is through the coordination of research in response to federal funding agency opportunities. The Energy Institute may work as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor on federally funded research. The institute may also conduct specific research on behalf of an industry sponsor. Industry representatives may contact  Energy Institute staff in their area of interest.
