LaKesha Anderson will moderate the panel discussing how communication can help solve and/or contribute to environmental issues caused by energy creation and consumption.
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - For many communities, the environmental impacts of energy
production create a unique paradox in that jobs are created by the same energy
sources that can cause environmental harm. This public program is aimed at discussing
how communication can help solve and/or contribute to environmental issues caused
by energy creation and consumption. The event will take place Wednesday (April
17) and is sponsored by the National Communication Association and the department
of communication studies. A reception will begin at 5 p.m. in the Mountainlair's
Vandalia Lounge followed by the formal program at 6 p.m. in the Shenandoah Room.
