Petroleum Technology Transfer Council - Appalachia

The PTTC was established over 30 years ago to provide oil and gas operators and service companies with access to both established and emerging technologies aimed at improved environmental results and increased production. The WVU Energy Institute is the eastern headquarters of the national organization and serves the Appalachian basin.

The PTTC is:

  • A partnership to connect independents with the technology and knowledge to safely and responsibly develop the nation’s oil and gas resources
  • An important part of America’s energy solution
  • A national not-for-profit organization offering local, affordable workshops that bring proven technologies to the needs of industry
